About The Position

Spring Arbor of Albemarle is hiring a Medication Technician to support assisted living residents with medication administration and daily care under the guidance of the Resident Care Director. The role involves building relationships with residents, providing compassionate and courteous service, supporting residents’ daily living needs, and working with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care. The position is offered as full-time or part-time.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a current Medication Training certification.
• Be able to pass a criminal background screening.
• Be willing to comply with the drug-free workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience with senior adults is highly preferred.
• CNA or NA license/certification in good standing, where applicable by state.
• CPR and First Aid certification, preferred or as required by the state.
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Approach encounters with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assist residents with medications as allowed under state guidelines.
• Help residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Communicate with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in and help lead resident activities.
• Provide friendly, courteous service, prioritizing resident satisfaction.
