Requirements

Ability to complete required Medication Technician training.
CPR/First Aid certification.
Food Handler certification.
Basic computer skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Genuine passion for working with seniors.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet applicable state health and regulatory requirements.
Pre-employment screening may include a background check, TB screening, physical examination, and drug screening, as applicable.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
CNA or applicable caregiving/medication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer medications accurately and on time according to physician orders, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate medication records, MARs, and resident documentation.
Communicate with pharmacies, physicians, nurses, and families regarding resident care and medication needs.
Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns.
Assist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, meals, and mobility.
Build meaningful relationships with residents through conversation, activities, and daily interactions.
Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
Support dining, activities, housekeeping, and other community needs as necessary.
Uphold resident dignity, choice, privacy, and rights at all times.
