About The Position
Sprenger Health Care is hiring a Medication Aide for SHC of Port Royal in Port Royal, South Carolina. The role provides direct resident care and follows established performance standards and nursing service policies and procedures. Candidates must meet state requirements for nursing assistants, have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold and document state certification as a Certified Medication Aide.
Requirements
- Must be a nursing assistant in accordance with state regulations.
- Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a Certified Medication Aide who has successfully completed a state-approved training program and any necessary examination.
- Must provide documentation of Certified Medication Aide certification and show proof of state certification upon application.
Responsibilities
- Follow established performance standards and perform duties according to nursing service policies and procedures.
- Provide direct resident care as assigned.
- Complete tub baths, showers, or bed baths.
- Take residents to the dining room and assist with feeding as assigned.
- Provide personal care to all assigned residents.
