About The Position

CountryHouse Lincoln I, an Agemark Senior Living community, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide to support residents with medication needs and daily care. The role involves administering medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans, maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring residents’ well-being, assisting with personal care, and building positive relationships with residents, families, and team members. This is a part-time day-shift position in Lincoln, Nebraska, with weekends required.

Requirements

• Meet Nebraska certification, training, and registry requirements for Medication Aides.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate effectively and use electronic medication records.
• Demonstrate patience, a positive attitude, dependability, and a genuine passion for caring for seniors.
• Be available to work day shifts, including required weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Document medication administration accurately and follow established procedures.
• Recognize and report changes in residents’ conditions, medication side effects, or other concerns.
• Assist residents with personal care while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
