About The Position

CountryHouse Residence, an Agemark Senior Living community in Lincoln, Nebraska, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide to support residents with medication needs and daily care. The role includes safely administering medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans, documenting medication administration, monitoring residents’ well-being, and assisting with personal care while promoting dignity and independence. The Medication Aide also builds positive relationships with residents, families, and team members. This is a part-time day-shift role with weekends required.

Requirements

• Meet Nebraska’s certification, training, and registry requirements for Medication Aides.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate effectively and use electronic medication records.
• Demonstrate compassion, patience, dependability, and a positive attitude, with a genuine passion for caring for seniors.
• Be available to work day shifts, including required weekends.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Document medication administration accurately and follow established procedures.
• Recognize and report changes in residents’ conditions, medication side effects, or other concerns.
• Assist residents with personal care while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
