Medical/Telemetry Nurse - Experience Required - Faulkner

This is a 36-hour per week position with 12-hour shifts based on the needs of the department. The role is on a Magnet Designated with Distinction 37 private bed medicine/telemetry teaching unit that serves a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions. Nurses will be exposed to the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic and CVM (Constant Monitoring System).
Requirements
- BSN required
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
- Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
- Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
Responsibilities
- Care for a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions (asthma, COPD, renal disease, DKA, DVT, HTN, PE, sepsis – to name a few)
- Utilize the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic and CVM (Constant Monitoring System)
