Medical/Telemetry Nurse - Nights - Faulkner

This is a 36-hour per week position with 12-hour night shifts on a 37-private bed medicine/telemetry teaching unit. The role involves caring for a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions and utilizing the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic, and CVM (Constant Monitoring System).
Requirements
- BSN required
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- PACU experience strongly preferred
- Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred
- ASPAN membership and CPAN/CAPA certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Care for a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions (asthma, COPD, renal disease, DKA, DVT, HTN, PE, sepsis – to name a few)
- Utilize the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic and CVM (Constant Monitoring System)
- Adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
- Demonstrate basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
- Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
