This is a 36-hour per week position with 12-hour night shifts on a 37-private bed medicine/telemetry teaching unit. The role involves caring for a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions and utilizing the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic, and CVM (Constant Monitoring System). Requirements

BSN required
Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
BLS and ACLS required
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities

Nice To Haves

PACU experience strongly preferred
Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred
ASPAN membership and CPAN/CAPA certification preferred

Responsibilities

Care for a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions (asthma, COPD, renal disease, DKA, DVT, HTN, PE, sepsis – to name a few)
Utilize the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic and CVM (Constant Monitoring System)
Adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
