About The Position
This is a Medical/Telemetry Nurse position on the 6 South unit at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. The unit is a Magnet Designated with Distinction, 37 private bed medicine/telemetry teaching unit that serves a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions. Nurses on this unit will be exposed to the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic, and CVM (Constant Monitoring System).
Requirements
- BSN required
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
- Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
- Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
Responsibilities
- Care for a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions.
- Utilize telemetry, Vocera, Epic, and CVM (Constant Monitoring System).
