About The Position

SkyBridge Tactical is seeking an experienced Medical Technical Writer to support the Force Medical Office (N04) by researching, developing, writing, editing, and maintaining medical policy documentation and related technical products in support of Navy/SOF medical operations. The Medical Technical Writer will translate and operationalize policy and medical regulatory guidance from DHA, BUMED, DoD, OPNAV, SOCOM, and NSW into clear, actionable products; manage web-based content and SharePoint document libraries; and establish and maintain a policy update tracking system/database to ensure Force Medical documentation is current, accurate, accessible, and compliant.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active SECRET clearance required at time of appointment
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. university in healthcare, scientific, technical, or business management discipline
  • 5+ years (within last 10 years) developing/researching/compiling/organizing/writing military publications
  • 1+ year of SharePoint portal management experience
  • 3+ years (within last 5 years) working with medical regulations/instructions established by DHA, BUMED, and DoD
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to accurately enter/maintain data across multiple systems/databases
  • Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain installation access as required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in a related discipline
  • Experience with medical regulations/instructions established by SOCOM and NSW
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining document trackers, content calendars, or policy lifecycle management systems (especially in regulated medical environments)
  • Experience supporting credentialing/privileging documentation, QC processes, and compliance reporting

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, edit, and format Force Medical policy documents and technical products (e.g., manuals, specifications, briefings, presentations, and correspondence) to support program and operational requirements.
  • Research and interpret medical regulations, instructions, and directives to ensure policy products are aligned with governing authorities and current guidance.
  • Manage web content to support Force Medical policy requirements, including maintaining a master tracker/calendar for document development, reviews, and updates.
  • Within 90 days of contract award , develop and implement a tracking system/database for Force Medical policy updates aligned to DHA/BUMED/OPNAV/DoD guidance and Force Medical program needs.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain a SharePoint portal document library, including document control practices and information organization to support easy retrieval and auditability.
  • Support monitoring and documentation associated with the credentialing and privileging Quality Control program, including tracking, updates, and reporting as required.
  • Produce recurring reports (monthly) and annual roll-ups summarizing status, updates, and compliance posture of Force Medical policy documentation and related program requirements.
  • Draft professional reports and correspondence (including military formats when required) and ensure accuracy across multiple data sources and systems/databases.
