About The Position

This position provides general nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum in diverse health care settings, collaborating with the health care team. The nurse is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

The role includes assessing patient health status, planning and documenting nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, and evaluating and documenting responses and outcomes. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, the nurse revises the plan of care based on evaluation data. The position also participates in process improvement activities focused on clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization. Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) credential from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
• Field of study: Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments as appropriate to the population or individual.
• Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriate intervals.
• Work with the multidisciplinary team to revise plans of care based on evaluative data.
• Participate actively in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency when performing job duties.
• Perform operations-related duties.
