About The Position

This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum in diverse health care settings, collaborating with the health care team. The nurse is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

The role focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization. Responsibilities may change and are not exhaustive.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Registered Nurse license from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Field of study: Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments as appropriate to the population or individual.
• Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriate intervals.
• Revise the plan of care with the multidisciplinary team based on evaluative data.
• Participate in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Perform operational responsibilities.
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency when performing job duties.
