About The Position

The Medical Services Coordinator provides administrative and medical support to ensure smooth delivery of client services. The role coordinates and facilitates care with internal teams and external service providers, and transports clients to support access to services and appointments. The position also supports medical records, immunization tracking, nursing clinics, and general office operations at KVC Missouri's residential treatment facility in St. James, Missouri.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid Missouri Class E driver's license and meet KVC requirements for driver’s insurance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.
• Ability to use independent judgment and manage confidential information.
• Ability to work in a challenging, ever-changing, multidisciplinary team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Medical or medical office work experience.
• Experience working with children and families in a trauma-informed environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with outside providers to arrange medical services for clients.
• Schedule appointments and lab work, maintain calendars, transport clients, and document health care appointments and lab work.
• Track medical, vision, and dental visits for all clients to ensure compliance.
• Transport clients to appointments when needed.
• Perform general office duties and maintain files.
• Complete medical record requests.
• Assist with immunization tracking and clinics.
• Assist with nursing clinics offered at KVC Missouri.
• Assist with office duties, including ordering supplies as needed.
