About The Position
Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections and is seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk at McRae Women's Facility in McRae-Helena, Georgia. The role maintains offender health records, retrieves records for scheduled appointments, files health data, and initiates records for new or transferred intakes. The clerk also reviews records for completeness and prepares reports as needed. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The stated pay range is $18–$20 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience with medical records systems and services.
- Current, appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a medical terminology course.
