About The Position

ConvenientMD is hiring a Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors at its clinics. Working alongside the clinical team, the receptionist greets patients, completes registrations, updates records, collects payments, and helps ensure patients with and without reservations are seen in a timely manner. The role is presented as an opportunity to begin or advance a career in customer service or the medical field. The receptionist supports a welcoming, organized clinic by assisting patients in person and over the phone, coordinating reservations and patient flow, handling administrative tasks, and using reservation and electronic medical record systems. The role requires 12-hour shifts and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The schedule varies by employment category: full-time employees work three shifts per week, part-time employees work two shifts per week, and per-diem employees work four shifts per month. Weekend shift requirements also vary by category. Employees may need to work at other ConvenientMD locations within one hour of their primary clinic and travel within that distance for training shifts.
