About The Position

The Medical Operator performs inspection, secondary operations, and packaging of injection-molded or blow-molded plastic products in a cleanroom. The role requires understanding and following the operating requirements of a Class 8 cleanroom at all times. Operators are responsible for the quality of products they inspect, handle, assemble, and package.

Requirements

Ability to understand and comply with Class 8 cleanroom operating requirements.
Ability to recognize plastic product defects and use correct terminology.
Ability to follow cleanroom entry, gowning, and cleaning requirements.
Ability to safely and efficiently use production tools and equipment.
Basic knowledge of IQMS and understanding of the Real Time Screen.
Competency in applicable ISO requirements, particularly ISO 13485.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned daily activities according to required documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and operational inspection documents.
Recognize types of plastic defects and use the correct terminology to demonstrate understanding.
Comply with cleanroom entry restrictions, including requirements related to clothing, perfumes, and jewelry.
Follow cleanroom gowning requirements.
Separate and contain nonconforming products or defects away from good production according to workstation requirements.
Use tools and equipment required for production processes safely and efficiently.
Complete scheduled cleanroom cleaning requirements and assignments.
Use basic IQMS knowledge and understand the Real Time Screen.
Keep the current job within cycle-time targets when applicable.
Perform tasks assigned by Quality Leaders, Supervisors, or Production Managers.
Perform end-of-shift housekeeping duties.
Demonstrate competency in applicable ISO standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485, with a primary focus on ISO 13485.
