About The Position

The Medical Office Lead will deliver care to patients utilizing the Medical Office Lead Process. This role manages clinic staff on day-to-day operations, assists in identifying and providing guidance in resolving operational issues, and efficiently directs patient flow throughout the clinic. The Lead will coordinate general front office activities including registration, TOS collections, verification of benefits, appointment scheduling, daily billing, daily reconciliations, and other related duties. Additionally, the Medical Office Lead will assist the Practice Manager with ensuring appropriate staffing coverage, new hire or reoccurring training processes, and facilitating training of new hires and other training initiatives. This role provides direction and support to clinical staff as requested and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 2 years Front Office Experience in a Clinic Setting (required)
  • 2 years Back Office Experience in a Clinic Setting (required)
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in one setting
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Effectively communicate with staff, patients, vendors and other contacts
  • Provide positive, professional customer service to patients, staff, and visitor
  • Maintain patient confidentiality while handling all patient personal health information and records
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of health care administration concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
  • Be a team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Cardiac or Vascular Specialty Clinic experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual in English / Spanish (preferred)
