About The Position
The Medical Lab Scientist I performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require independent judgment and responsibility, with minimal technical supervision. The role is responsible for quality control, instrument maintenance, and specimen procurement and processing. The position is onsite at the CP-Moorland Reserve Health Center in New Berlin, Wisconsin, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with work every third weekend from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and approximately two holidays per year.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related science is required within two months of hire.
- MLS certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent is required within one year of hire.
