About The Position

The Medical Lab Scientist I performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols, exercising broad independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. The role is responsible for quality control, instrument maintenance, and specimen procurement and processing.

The position is onsite at the CP-Moorland Reserve Health Center facility in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with rotating holidays (approximately two per year) and every third weekend from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related science is required within two months of hire.
• MLS certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent is required within one year of hire.
