About The Position

The Medical Lab Scientist I performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols, exercising independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. The role is responsible for quality control, instrument maintenance, and specimen procurement and processing. This is an onsite position at the CP-Moorland Reserve Health Center in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The position is 1.0 FTE with 40 standard hours per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with approximately two holidays per year and every third weekend from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related science is required within two months of hire. MLS certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent is required within one year of hire. No prior experience is required, though at least two years of clinical laboratory experience is preferred.
