About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Medical Imaging File Registration Clerk. The role involves registering patients for Medical Imaging, interacting with patients and colleagues, preparing and maintaining electronic patient records in Meditech, retrieving PACs images and reports, and producing and releasing CDs. The position is based at Grand Haven Hospital, which is part of Trinity Health.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to type 50 wpm, error-free.
• Experience with computer and office equipment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of medical office experience preferred, with understanding of medical and insurance terms.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for Medical Imaging.
• Interact with patients, the public and co-workers fulfilling job duties.
• Prepare, update and maintain the patient electronic record in Meditech.
• Retrieve PACs images, reports and other documents according to established procedures.
• Produce and release CDs, file copies or reports according to established policy.
