About The Position

The Medical Records Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of patient health records in compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements. This role ensures that all medical records are complete, timely, and audit-ready, supporting high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and organizational operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Two (2) years of secretarial or office clerical experience
  • Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test
  • Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of patient health records in compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements
  • Ensure all medical records are complete, timely, and audit-ready, supporting high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and organizational operations
