About The Position

We are seeking a meticulous and organized File Clerk to join our team. The File Clerk will be responsible for maintaining our company’s records and ensuring proper documentation handling. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience as a file clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with office equipment and procedures (e.g., scanners, printers, copiers).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
  • Sort and categorize documents according to established filing systems.
  • Ensure all documents are properly labeled, indexed, and stored.
  • Retrieve files upon request and ensure timely delivery to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of filing systems.
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Dispose of outdated records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
