About The Position

Prolific is inviting US-based physicians with experience in medical education or physician teaching to join its Expert Network for paid research and AI-related tasks. Applicants must be registered physicians with a current US medical license and be willing to provide their National Provider Identifier (NPI) for verification. Eligible applicants may be invited to a dedicated workspace and, after credential verification, may be asked to complete training or a qualification assessment. Those who meet project requirements and pass the assessment may be invited to participate in project tasks.

This is a remote, freelance, task-based research participation opportunity, not clinical employment or a salaried physician position. There are no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work. The indicative rate for invited paid screening is US$130 per hour, with project task rates starting at US$216 per hour; rates are task-based and subject to confirmation. Participants can review each task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before deciding whether to participate. Applying does not guarantee an assessment invitation, acceptance, or paid work.

Participants complete expert registration and medical-credential verification, may complete an assessment if invited, and, if qualified and selected, contribute their medical education or physician-teaching expertise to research and AI-related tasks. They must follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task and must not include patient information in applications or task submissions. Participation is remote, and selected participants can choose tasks that fit their schedules, subject to verification, assessment results, and task availability.

Requirements

• Currently reside in the United States.
• Be a registered physician with a current US medical license.
• Have experience in medical education or physician teaching.
• Be willing to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding; physician and license eligibility must also be verified.
• Be willing to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
• Have access to a computer and reliable internet connection.
• Be able to follow detailed online instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
• Complete an assessment if invited to establish suitability for the project.
• If qualified and selected, apply medical education or physician-teaching experience to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
• Follow task-specific instructions and confidentiality requirements.
• Do not include patient information in applications or task submissions.
