Neurosurgeon - AI Research Participants - United States (Remote)
About The Position
Prolific is inviting US-based physicians with neurosurgery experience to join its Expert Network for paid research and AI-related tasks. Applicants must be registered physicians with a current US medical license and provide their National Provider Identifier (NPI) for medical-credential verification. Eligible applicants may be invited to a dedicated Prolific workspace and, after verification, may be asked to complete training or a qualification assessment. Physicians who meet project requirements and pass the assessment may be invited to complete project tasks. This is a remote, freelance, task-based research participation opportunity, not clinical employment or a salaried physician position. There are no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work. The indicative rate for invited paid screening is US$130 per hour, and project task rates start at US$216 per hour, subject to task-specific confirmation. Participants can review each task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before choosing whether to participate. Invitations, assessments, project access, and task availability depend on eligibility and project requirements; applying does not guarantee an assessment invitation, acceptance, or paid work.
Requirements
- Currently reside in the United States.
- Be a registered physician with a current US medical license and experience in neurosurgery.
- Be willing to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding; physician and license eligibility must also be verified.
- Be willing to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
- Have access to a computer and reliable internet connection, and be able to follow detailed online instructions.
Responsibilities
- Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
- Complete an assessment, if invited, to establish suitability for the project.
- If qualified and selected, apply neurosurgery experience to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
- Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
