Medical Director - AI Research Participants - United States (Remote)
About The Position
Prolific is inviting US-based physicians with medical leadership or medical director experience to join its Expert Network for paid research and AI-related tasks. Applicants must be registered physicians with a current US medical license and must be willing to provide their National Provider Identifier (NPI) for credential verification. Eligible applicants may be invited to a dedicated workspace and, after verification, may be asked to complete training or a qualification assessment. Those who meet the project requirements and pass the assessment may be invited to take on project tasks. This is a remote, freelance, task-based research participation opportunity, not clinical employment or a salaried physician position. There are no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work. The indicative rate for an invited paid screening is US$130 per hour; project task rates start at US$216 per hour, subject to task-specific confirmation. Requirements
- Currently reside in the United States.
- Be a registered physician with a current US medical license and experience in medical leadership or medical director work.
- Be willing to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding; physician and license eligibility must also be verified.
- Be willing to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
- Have access to a computer and reliable internet connection, and be able to follow detailed online instructions.
Responsibilities
- Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
- Complete an assessment if invited to establish suitability for the project.
- If qualified and selected, apply medical leadership or medical director experience to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
- Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
