About The Position

Lazy 3 Animal Care is seeking a Medical Director for their growing mixed-animal practice in Texas. This is a leadership role focused on shaping the future of the practice, leading and mentoring the clinical team, setting medical standards, and partnering with leadership on growth and direction. The role offers medical autonomy, a variety of cases including companion animals, livestock, and equine, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the clinic's future. The practice is described as busy with a well-paced caseload and a 3:1 support ratio.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD (or equivalent), licensed or eligible in Texas
• Strong clinical foundation across small and/or mixed animal medicine
• Leadership mindset with interest in mentoring and team development
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
