About The Position

Clinical Associates is seeking full-time Medical Call Center Representatives for its Pikesville location in the Woodholme Medical Building. Clinical Associates provides integrated, multispecialty medical care and has served the community for over 50 years. Medical call center experience is required. The role involves working in a team-oriented, high-volume call center and providing attentive customer service to patients. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors by telephone, the Call Center Representative provides a professional, supportive, and nurturing experience. The representative answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, and documents messages in the EMR system. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask while carrying out company protocols accurately and efficiently. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Medical call center experience.
Basic arithmetic and money-calculating skills.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
EMR skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and a high-volume call center.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Identify and quickly assess the nature of calls, then act appropriately to provide prompt, professional service.
Schedule appointments.
Verify insurance and resolve eligibility issues before scheduled appointments.
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and account balances on an as-needed basis.
Answer incoming telephone calls and provide a professional, supportive experience for patients and visitors.
Document messages in the EMR system.
Perform company protocols efficiently and accurately while multitasking.
