About The Position

Account Recovery Specialists, Inc. (ARSI®), a family-owned organization headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, provides accounts receivable management services to local businesses. ARSI® is hiring a full-time Medical Billing Representative for its Wichita office. The role focuses on customer service, self-pay billing, insurance follow-up, and helping consumers resolve account balances while representing clients professionally and compassionately. Responsibilities may change at management’s discretion based on business needs.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute (required).

Nice To Haves

Healthcare billing and insurance experience preferred.
Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage inbound and outbound communications related to self-pay billing and insurance follow-up.
Work with patients to establish payment arrangements and process payments accurately and efficiently.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of client and patient requests.
Obtain and verify third-party payer information and communicate it to clients for processing.
Communicate professionally with clients, insurance companies, attorneys, and other third parties.
Handle a high volume of calls from patients, clients, insurance companies, attorneys, and other parties.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, applicable federal and state regulations, and company policies and procedures.
