About The Position

Make a Bigger Impact as a Medical Assistant—Out in the Community. This is a State Travel Role, field-based, where you will visit patients in their homes, not exam rooms. The focus is on preventive care, not urgent care, allowing for meaningful patient relationships with unrushed visits. You will support seniors and families in their homes and document visits using modern EMR tools. Your work helps identify health concerns early and improves access to care for communities across Tennessee.

Requirements

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant credential, certification, diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience
• Comfortable traveling daily to patient homes
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Open to statewide travel throughout Tennessee as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience conducting Annual Wellness Visits
• Experience conducting Well-Child Visits
• Prior home visit, mobile care, field-based, or community health experience
