About The Position

Make a Bigger Impact as a Medical Assistant—Out in the Community. This is a state travel role, field-based, where you will visit patients in their homes, not exam rooms. The focus is on preventive care, specifically Annual Wellness Visits (Medicare) and Well-Child Visits, not urgent care. You will build meaningful patient relationships with unrushed visits and support seniors and families in their homes. Visits will be documented using modern EMR tools. This role helps seniors stay healthier and independent by bringing preventive healthcare directly to their homes. Your work helps identify health concerns early and improves access to care for communities across Tennessee.

Requirements

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant credential, certification, diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience
• Comfortable traveling daily to patient homes
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Open to statewide travel throughout Tennessee as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience conducting Annual Wellness Visits
• Experience conducting Well-Child Visits
• Prior home visit, mobile care, field-based, or community health experience
