This position will have clinic days in Appleton and Ashwaubenon working in our ENT clinic. This position performs the functions of a Medical Assistant on a routine basis. In addition, also performs functions of a clerical nature per the needs of the clinic site. Performs a variety of assigned duties which promote a safe and organized environment for the delivery of services to children and their families within the clinic setting.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required.
  • In lieu of medical assistant program education, 6 months of experience in a patient care role would be considered.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of medical assistant program, preferred.
  • Certification or Registration (Clinical Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant, preferred.
  • Experience in a primary care /specialty care pediatric ambulatory setting highly preferred.
  • Experience in administering immunizations and other injections preferred.
