About The Position

The Circulation Clerk promotes the mission and values of the Greene County Public Library and supports its strategic plan by performing library circulation and clerical tasks while providing a high level of customer service. The clerk also repairs and repackages damaged items and helps patrons locate materials. The position requires clear communication, computer skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and tactful, courteous service to patrons and colleagues. The work is performed in an office-like library setting and involves considerable mobility.
