About The Position

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to support patients' comfort, safety, and personal needs. Assists physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting. Performs various patient care duties as part of a multidisciplinary patient care team, as delegated by a physician. Specific duties and responsibilities are determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff, and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

Requirements

• One year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Hold an American Heart Association Basic Life Support card.
• Visual color acuity screening may be required, depending on the role in specific units.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program.
• Graduate of a U.S. Military medic course.
