Medical Assistant (MA), Sea View Pediatrics - Aliso Viejo (Part Time)
About The Position
The Medical Assistant I (MA I) is an unlicensed healthcare professional who performs routine technical services in medical practice settings under the supervision of a physician and department leadership staff. The associate uses knowledge and skills to function efficiently in the back office and/or front office. This is a part-time, benefited position working 32 hours per week across four 8-hour shifts. The primary work location is the Sea View Pediatrics office in Aliso Viejo, California, although the selected candidate may be asked to work at any Sea View Pediatrics office as needed.
Requirements
- Previous work experience or externship in a healthcare setting.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Graduate of a vocational school and successful completion of Medical Assistant requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Medical Assistant diploma.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for safe and effective job performance.
- Proficiency in medical terminology.
- Knowledge of computer systems and software used in the functional area.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
