About The Position

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant Float for its West Valley Pediatrics Clinic. The role supports several providers and works closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide patient care and help the clinic operate efficiently. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking is required.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and involves prolonged standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent use of computers and office equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking ability.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a medical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone triage and communicate with parents or guardians.
• Manage insurance authorizations and prior approvals.
• Record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, height, and weight.
• Administer immunizations.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms.
• Accurately document patient information.
