About The Position

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant Float for its West Valley Pediatrics Clinic. The role supports several providers and works closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide patient care and help the clinic operate smoothly. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking ability is required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position involves patient care and clinic support, including telephone triage, insurance authorizations, recording vital signs, immunizations, phlebotomy, specimen collection, exam-room preparation, and patient documentation. Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Medical Assistant certification required.
Bilingual English/Spanish speaking ability required.
Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct telephone triage and communicate with parents and guardians.
Manage insurance authorizations and prior approvals.
Record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, height, and weight.
Administer immunizations.
Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
Prepare and maintain exam rooms.
Accurately document patient information.
Provide strong customer service and communicate professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.
Support several providers and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to help the clinic run smoothly.
