Medical Assistant - Pcp Office
About The Position
The Medical Assistant (MA) works under the direct supervision and authority of a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant and reports to the practice nurse manager. The MA demonstrates competency in patient-care skills, communicates effectively, maintains examination and procedure room supply inventories, supports smooth and efficient patient flow with the healthcare team, and organizes the office environment to promote patient safety. This position is based in a primary care clinician’s office and requires the ability to float to other practices within the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Medical Group. The group provides services across multiple specialties and offices, supported by physicians, licensed providers, clinical staff, and clerical staff. Hours vary by practice.
