Medical Assistant - Primary Care

About The Position
Assists providers and the nursing team in delivering professional medical care. Duties include pre-visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, using the EMR system, scanning and downloading documents, administering injections, coordinating vaccines, telephone screening according to protocols, performing phlebotomy, assisting with procedures as needed, and other duties based on clinic needs. The role requires excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor at all times. May cover front-office duties as needed.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
