Medical Assistant - Primary Care

About The Position
Assists providers and the nursing team in delivering professional medical care. Duties include pre-visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, using the EMR system, scanning and downloading documents, administering injections and vaccines, assisting with procedures as needed, and performing other duties based on clinic needs. The role requires excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor. The Medical Assistant may also cover front office duties as needed. An active Medical Assistant Certification is required.
Requirements
- Active Medical Assistant Certification.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
Responsibilities
