About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers during medical evaluations and assessments. This is a full-time opportunity in a structured clinical environment with no on-call responsibilities. The schedule consists of full-time hours between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The IMA Group’s Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies by delivering professional and objective medical and psychological examinations and ancillary services. Its Payer Services Division meets evaluation and screening needs for carriers, TPAs, public entities, and employers, including behavioral health and physical medicine specialty services. The Clinical Research Division conducts Phase II–IV clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas through a nationwide network of sites and virtual capabilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior healthcare experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
- Medical Assistant certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient evaluations.
- Take vital signs and medical histories.
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and routine clinical procedures.
- Maintain medical records and ensure exam rooms are ready.
