About The Position

Make a Bigger Impact as a Medical Assistant—Out in the Community. This is a state travel role, field-based, with home visits starting in Greene County, TN. Travel may extend throughout Tennessee based on patient needs. The role focuses on preventive care, not urgent care, and involves completing Annual Wellness Visits (Medicare) and Well-Child Visits. You will build meaningful patient relationships with unrushed visits, support seniors and families in their homes, and document visits using modern EMR tools. The goal is to help seniors stay healthier and independent by bringing preventive healthcare directly to their homes, identifying health concerns early and improving access to care for communities across Tennessee.

Requirements

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant credential, certification, diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience
• Comfortable traveling daily to patient homes
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Open to statewide travel throughout Tennessee as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience conducting Annual Wellness Visits
• Experience conducting Well-Child Visits
• Prior home visit, mobile care, field-based, or community health experience
