Medical Assistant - Sarasota
About The Position
MaxHealth is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant in Sarasota to support patient care and perform a broad range of front- and back-office duties. The Medical Assistant greets and triages patients, prepares examination and procedure rooms, obtains patient histories and vital signs, and measures height and weight. The role also includes assisting with examinations, procedures, and treatments; scheduling appointments and procedures; and managing documents such as pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results. The position is at the Bee Ridge Road location. Bilingual candidates are preferred, and one year of experience is required. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with a $500 sign-on bonus paid after the first 30 days.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Computer literacy and proficiency, including experience using EMR/EHR systems.
- Previous experience with medical records.
