About The Position
MaxHealth is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist for its Cortez Road location. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a medical assistant.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Computer literacy and proficiency, including experience using EMR/EHR systems.
- Previous experience with medical records.
Responsibilities
- Greet and triage patients upon arrival.
- Prepare examination and procedure rooms.
- Obtain patient histories, vital signs, weight, and height measurements.
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures as needed.
- Manage pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results.
- Perform front- and back-office medical tasks, including phlebotomy.
