About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Health Services Department at Avita Ontario Hospital. The role performs a variety of administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and performs required procedures and tasks as directed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT, or Paramedic.
