About The Position

Responsible for assisting with the daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned office(s). Works collaboratively with the team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
• Current certification as a CMA through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), RMA through American Medical Technologists (AMT), CCMA through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), NCMA through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or CMAC through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
• CPR certification required.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Medical assistant or physician office experience.
• Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, and clinical quality initiatives.
• Familiarity with computers and experience with electronic medical records.
