About The Position

Colorado Physician Partners is hiring a Medical Assistant to collaborate with Clinical services staff and provide patient services in a welcoming environment that supports patient comfort and trust. The role includes preparing for in-person and Telehealth visits, maintaining exam rooms, preparing and screening patients, assisting providers during examinations, and keeping supplies and work areas organized. The Medical Assistant is expected to maintain a positive and flexible attitude and follow infection-control and HIPAA standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current, valid Medical Assistant certification.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Excellent ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and accurately document information; diplomacy and tact.
• Beginner to intermediate computer and phone skills.
• Willingness to adapt to various duties and cross-train within other departments.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Universal Precautions and adherence to HIPAA standards.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or another language.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Review and update patient records before in-person or Telehealth appointments, ensuring recent test results and correspondence are current.
• Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits while following infection-control standards.
• Prepare patients for visits and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready.
• Greet patients, take vital signs, and accurately document basic medical history.
• Support physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations.
• Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep work areas clean and orderly.
