Medical Assistant - Part Time - Dermatology Clinics

About The Position
Provides the highest quality of customer service to patients and others by performing duties professionally and engagingly. Under the direction of licensed practitioners, provides quality patient care, promotes efficient clinic operations, and assists physicians and support staff. This part-time position is in the Dermatology Clinics and is scheduled for 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday on varied days, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire from an American Heart Association (AHA)-endorsed program. This requirement applies to new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later.
- If required to administer medications, have a current Medication Aid Registry listing or complete it within the first 30 days of hire or transfer, and maintain it thereafter.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a physician's office.
- Experience in a related area.
- Ability to speak both English and Spanish for work in certain clinics.
- Medical assistant certification.
- Medical Scribe experience.
