About The Position
New England Dermatology & Laser Center, a provider of dermatology care for over 70 years, is seeking Medical Assistants (MAs) with a strong work ethic to join their growing specialty practice. The role focuses on ensuring a positive patient experience, assisting with procedures and documentation, managing requisitions, handling patient communication, and maintaining office readiness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- ACDT, CMA or RMA required at 90 days
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assisting Certificate from an accredited school
- Medical assisting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Facilitating a positive patient office experience
- Assisting with various procedures, surgeries and visit documentation
- Completing lab and pathology requisitions
- Triaging and returning phone calls
- Scheduling patients
- Escorting patients to exam rooms
- Cleaning/stocking rooms
- Other related tasks
