About The Position
The Medical Assistant works under the clinical supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. The role assists with preparing and delivering patient care as directed by providers and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties must be performed skillfully and consistently in accordance with established clinical policies and procedures. The schedule is 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday, for 32 standard weekly hours. The position is based at Grapevine Springs Primary Care.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant school or current Medical Assistant certification.
- Current CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- National certification preferred.
